But what is this conceptual model exactly?
This model originates from the actual Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records, a conceptual model to manage information initially contained in bibliographic records.
The FRBR model also applies to several domains and allows to thoroughly describe intellectual and artistic endeavours, as well as their physical embodiments. This relationship model meets all the contemporary requirements of records management, for a variety of fields: creation, music, cinema, theater, and more.
